Application
Over more than 30 years of establishment, Rosenberg has become a globally renowned brand in the ventilation industry. It has developed an increasingly extensive range of products and created standardized solutions for diverse applications.
The contamination and heating of the air caused by the work is a growing problem in this industry. The exchange of fresh air is therefore a big issue when planning new construction or renovating older industrial halls. Our products for industrial ventilation provide the most diverse industrial sectors with fresh air, thus subsequently improving the (employee) work climate.
In industries such as rail transportation, new energy, and electronic heat dissipation, we leverage our rich industry experience to develop and produce customized products according to customer needs.

The Rosenberg EC-motor (EC = Electronically Commutated) is an inverter-fed synchronous motor with permanent magnets in external rotor construction.
The motor position depends on the voltage supplied by the frequency converter module (similar to the principle of the frequency converter). EC commutation electronics differ from frequency converters in that they decide how to supply current (commutation) to the motor phases in the stator depending on the position, direction of rotation and default values. The permanent magnets in the rotor will generate the magnetic field required for full load production. This allows for low noise and continuous motor speed control. Assembly flanges on the rotor are used for impeller assembly. Depending on the motor type, the junction box can provide cable screw connections or connecting cables for easy and quick connection.
Rosenberg offers a large number of energy efficient fans with EC drives in the fields of standard fans, OEM application fans and ventilation fans. EC-fans are used wherever economical energy use and simple control according to actual ventilation needs are required. Integrated electronics enable the EC fan to run every time. All that is needed is a control signal.
Open Loop
In the "open loop" working mode, the speed of the fan can be steplessly adjusted through the 0-10V or 4-20 mA set point input. The EC fan with integrated electronics can control 0...100% of the nominal speed.
Closed loop
In the "closed loop" operation mode, the EC-fan compares the nominal value with the measured actual value and adjusts the speed according to the set requirements. The measured values (pressure, air flow, temperature, CO2…) must be in the form of electrical signals of 0-10V or 4-20 mA.
Rosenberg EC fans have a high energy saving potential at full load, especially at part load. Under the same airflow, the efficiency loss is significantly lower than that of traditional AC motors. The improvement in energy efficiency has led to a 2-year reduction in carbon monoxide emissions. In addition, the investment cost of fan speed control is low. No control transformers, frequency converters or phase angle controllers are required. All necessary components are included in the EC motor electronics. Rosenberg modern EC technology is not only wallet-friendly, but also very friendly to the environment.
